RM Public School celebrates Labour Day

JAMMU, May 3: RM Public School conducted various activities on the occasion of Labour Day. The activities ranged from slogan writing and poster writing for class 3rd and 4th. Students of class 5th were encouraged to make videos of themselves posing as community helpers.
Keeping in mind the prevailing COVID situation, all these activities were conducted through online platform.
International May Day is celebrated to appreciate the workers across the globe.
The school also conducted an online inter school symposium competition conducted in the super vision of coordinator Suman Choudhary and Incharge Gurpreet Kour for class 6th students.
Sahibdeep Singh and Harshit Mahajan of SNS Gandhi Nagar as well as Mahi Rajput and Swasti from SNS Jeevan Nagar participated in the competition. Raghav Gandotra and Aadhya represented RMPS in the competition.
Raghav Gandotra and Aadhya Gupta from RMPS emerged as the winner of the competition while Swasti from SNJN bagged the 2nd prize and the 3rd prize went to Harshit from SNGN respectively.
The chief guest for the occasion Rupinder Kour from Banyan International School was impressed by the efforts of the students. The Director of the school Rakshan Mengi admired the students. He also advised them to be grateful to the workers and helpers who make our lives better.
The Principal of the school, Shuchita Gupta applauded the students for their efforts and also appreciated the efforts of the teachers as well as the parents.
