Baalveer Returns: A virtuous way to mope around the lockdown
5/3/2021 11:27:06 PM

Hina Jaan

Government has once again imposed the lockdown to prevent the cataclysm viz second wave of covid 19 and this time may be the jejune of all for the people. But now we have a box of amusement, a phone but we don’t know what entertaining as well as lucrative should we choose. We must have seen a number of serials or shows that are like grandmasters of beer and skittles. But very few of them may give us ideas and ethics of morality or moral values especially for children. In lockdown there is a large fraction of time of the children in “savings account” and they can spent this time learning not only from the books but at the depth of conscience and that learning device is Baalveer Returns. Baalveer has proved to be one of the best shows for children which gives the lesson of rectitude. Baalveer Returns is a new version of Baalveer. It’s an Indian fantasy television series in which the victory of good over bad for always is described. Its cast are Dev Joshi aka senior baalveer, Vansh Sayani as junior baalveer, Pavitra Punia aka Timnasa as their rival and fairies who have the powers of different elements like water, air, fire, sound, hair and even naughtiness. Baalveers are the super heroes who combat against evil powers and are always escorted by the fairies.
In this show the main spirit conveyed is that “ Achaaie hamesha jeet ti hai “ goodness always wins. Everyone in this world is chequered, but this show gives wings to the goodness in us which may have been in a vertigo for a long time and also imprisons the evil in us. In lockdown, while children are getting bored at their homes, they can benefit from it as if they will act upon the teaching conveyed in this show. It can change their credo, the way of taking decisions or this show can even renovate the lunacy of a stubborn child. It is abundant of adventure and entertainment flavoured with magic and garnished with morality.
From the respect of mother to love for the earth, every good point is cloaked in it. Children can also learn pure hindi language from it as the pure hindi adds a taste to this show. It’s important for a child to learn the ethics and mores, but when it is blended with entertainment then it is just an icing on the cake. The trust on yourself, Truth, Alert mind, Importance of righteousness and tenderness of heart are the main incisive highlights of this serial. It is devoid of such scenes which can drop a negative effect on the mind of a child. Not only for children, but it can also be a great experience of adults as well. So, Baalveer Returns is a quite intangible show whose upskills and enlightments cannot be varbalized in words as it is not only a play on a “ square screen” but the tale of morality and something worthwhile.
