5/8/2021 9:36:57 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, May 8: A meeting of Jagti tenement committee, Soan Kashmir front J&K was held under the leadership of its president Shadi Lal Pandita in which Pandita said that a separate Covid -19 centre should be set up in Jagti township as soon as possible and demanded at least 100 oxygen cylinders and all facilities should be kept there so that the Covid - 19 patients can be given oxygen and treated in time
Pandita said that there are many Covid-19 patients are suffering from the disease in Jagti township who have to be taken from Jagti to other hospitals for oxygen and treatment due to which the treatment of patients is delayed. Therefore, it is necessary to open a covid-19 center in Jagti township immediately.
He said Jagti needs to have at least five ambulances because more than 20,000 people are live in the Jagti township and at least 3,000 families are living in nearby .Pandita said there was a first aid medical dispensary in Jagti township which has been closed and needs to be reopened. He said that all the Kashmiri migrants are living in exile because of migration. Pandita said due to covid-19 many people are sick who do not have any job and those who were working as laborers are stranded at home due to the Covid-19 curfew.
He said that the monthly ration /cash relief of the migrants are totally inadequate. Therefore, more ration and cash assistance should be given to the Kashmiri migrants so that no one dies of this dangerous disease due to ration and money. Pandita said Jagti township should be sprayed with sanitizers and pesticides till the disease can be controlled.
