| GDC Ukhral organize awareness programme on Covid 19 | | |

Ramban, May 8: GDC Ukhral today organized an online awareness program on the prevention and control of Covid-19. The purpose of organizing this program was to aware and familiarize the common masses about the various preventive measures of Covid 19.
Large number of students participated in this awareness campaign. Shafiq Ahmed Katoch gave the detailed presentation about the Covid 19 transmission and protective measures. He highlighted the main points of preventing the spread of this deadly disease like hand hygiene, social distancing, avoid mass gathering, wearing facemask.
The program started with the welcome address by Iftikhar Hussain. Students of the college Sohan Singh, Kikar Singh, Qadeer Bali also spoke on the occasion. Principal of the College Ranvijay Singh exhorted upon the students to act as ambassadors for spreading the awareness of Covid 19 pandemic at local level. The event was co-ordinated by Zakir Hussain Convener Psychological Counseling Cell of the College.
