Medical employees demanded incentives for all health frontline workers

Kishtwar, May 8: Medical employees federation Kishtwar in an extra ordinary meeting held at Kishtwar today while hailing the decision of the government of Jammu and Kashmir for providing special incentives to front line health workers also demanded similar incentives for all the health staff who had been left out by the government of J&K in recent order. Speaking to Early Times, Mansoor Ahmed Doolwal President Medical Employees Federation Kishtwar said that the health federation demanded incentives for NHM employees, NACO (National Aids Control Organisation), Poor sweepers working in hospitals and employees engaged under Hospital Development Funds at par given to the other health employees including doctors & paramedical staff.
He said that all the frontline workers are working hard during ongoing pandemic and deserve to be given appreciation as well as incentives.
He also rued the delay in holding the Departmental Promotion Committee meeting which has not been conducted since last six year as a result of which the employees are suffering badly. He said that with the clearance of DPCs, more posts will be created so that other people could be employed against those posts to over come the shortage of manpower in the health department. He urged upon director health services Jammu to look into the matter by holding early DPCs beside also urged the government to consider the demand of inclusion of left out health services related employees in the list of officials entitled for special incentives announced by the government of Jammu and Kashmir
