Early Times Report

Udhampur, May 8: In addition to self explorations by social organizations to identify and to reach the needy for help, the media coverage especially during geographical lockdowns, extended quarantines, and financial and social hardships is the other absolute source for social organizations to step in for the needy hands.
It was expressed by Mahadeep Singh Jamwal, President Senior Citizens’ Club Udhampur (SCCU). A story carried forward by ‘Media One Plus’ reporter Vikram Singh Panchi was vigorously followed by a team of SCCU governing body and advisory board.
Heart breaking facts revealed that one Bihari Lal of Tirshi Gandala, a laborer, only earning a hand of family consisting of a century old bedridden father, two kids and wife, was under treatment at Amritsar after he met with an accident.
After exhausting all resources for treatment, now the family is taking one time hand to mouth meal to save a few chips to spend on treatment.
The visiting team immediately provided consoling cash relief for treatment and ration. In this aspect a number of noble hearted people have contributed.
The SCCU appealed for volunteer contribution for treatment of Bihari Lal that involves huge amount. Jamwal told that the SCCU has adopted the family for monthly ration needs.
