Kishtwar, May 14 : After massive surge in COVID 19 cases, Kishtwar administration declared 8 more areas with over 900 population as micro containment zones and thus so far over 2 dozen areas has been declared as micro containment in the District in last two weeks.
As per the details available with Early Times, 5 more areas in Palmar were declared as micro containment zones with overall 9 areas so far has been designated as micro containment zones in the area in last few days and as per the official sources, more than 50 COVID positive cases were reported from the Palmar area.
As per fresh order issued by DC Kishtwar, Uppar Kungwari, Lower Suzna (West of Mallar road), Hamlet Mahar, Hamlet Phatna & Hamlet Badran all in Palmar, Proper Panditgham (Near Sheetla Mandir and Malik Market area opposite Shaheedi Mazar in Kishtwar locality has also been declared as micro containment zones.
As per the orders, CMO and BMO will depute teams for conducting 100% testing of the containment zones.
