Youth Congress distributes food packets among needy at GMC Jammu

JAMMU, May 14: Pradesh Youth Congress J&K today distributed food packets among the attendants of Covid patients at Government Medical College Jammu.
This initiative has been taken by J&K Youth Congress led by Ricky Dalotra, General Secretary JKPYC on the directions of JKPYC President Uday Chib.
Ricky said that keeping in view the deteriorating situation during the second wave of this pandemic there is a dire need for the administration not only to strictly enforce strict restrictions but also announce additional measures in the direction of containing the fast spread of this highly contagious virus.
The Youth Congress leader said that in view of the third wave approaching near as claimed by experts, there is a dire need to remain fully prepared in anticipation to deal with the situation besides initiating efforts to avoid the situation from further deterioration. He also sought special focus of the LG led administration on rural healthcare infrastructure which he alleged is far from satisfaction to cater to the needs of population in the respective rural areas.
Ricky appealed to all the social workers to do all the safety measures while doing any kind of relief work like always try to keep the 1.5 mts difference between the people who we are giving material, must wear gloves and masks also during this work.
He also appealed the people to kindly follow the instructions of government regarding lockdown going out of home is like going to get virus for yourself and your family members.
