ADGP Jammu reviews functioning of district Police Rajouri
Appreciates efforts of getting Police frontline workers vaccinated in time

Jammu, May 15: Addl. Director General of Police Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh visited district Rajouri this morning reviewed the functioning of district Police. He took stock of preparedness and measures to contain the spread of 2nd wave of Corona Virus . He also took stock of preventive measures being taken for the police personnel deployed at sensitive places. He was accompanied by DIG of Police Poonch –Rajouri Range Vivek Gupta.
During his visit the Addl. DG Jammu held meeting with senior police officers and reviewed the functioning of district police. He appreciated the role of police for working day and night, specially appreciated the effective implementation of lockdown and enforcement of COVID protocol.
Later Addl. DGP Jammu reviewed the arrangements being made at quarantine centers. The SSP Rajouri gave the detailed briefing to the him about the preparedness and measures taken against the fight of 2nd wave COVID 19 in the district.
To make women police more effective in this crucial phase of Covid 19, ADGP Jammu Zone distributed eight scooties among them in a simple ceremony while following Covid protocol and he expressed that this effort of Police will definitely provide a helping hand to the women folk of District Rajouri who cannot reach to Police Stations during the pandemic.
Earlier, ADGP Jammu Zone held meeting with Commander 93 Brigade and DC Poonch ,besides he visited to Police #Covid care centre and praised the facilities available at #Covid care of district Police #Poonch.
