Jammu, May 15: A digital "e-painting cum sketch exhibition" was organized by Nami Dogri Sanstha (Regd) wherein thirteen artists presented their creations.
Renowned painter, cartoonist , poet and Dogri writer Vijay Puri presided over the proceedings. Sushil Bhola a naturopathic, painter, poet and writer compered the proceedings and offered his valuable comments on each and every painting cum sketch presented in the exhibition.
Lalit Sharma convener NDS conceived and planned the event where it was monitored and supervised by Harish Kaila president NDS and Yash Pal Yash general secretary.
The participating artists ranging from five years to seventy years of age participated. Artists who participated were Savita Sharma, Deepa Soni Balwal, Urmil Puri Sachdev, Augustaya (9 Years) , Ameya Tiwari (5years) from Singapore ,Tia from London (12 Years), Arab Tiwari from Singapore and others.
Sushil Bhola in his comments said that Indian painting art is oldest and un-parallel in the world and nobody in the world could match our art. He lauded the local works like Basohali paintings and paintings of our ancient forts, Radha Krishan ji temple at Miransahib and Purani Mandi Jammu temple and many more .
Vijay Puri in his presidential address lauded the "Online Gallery" initiative of NDS which is unique and first of its type .
Kulbhushan Singh Jamwal a well known name in the art and raft extended vote of thanks at the end and described the event a grand success . |
