Online awareness campaign on prevention form Corona virus held

Jammu, May 15: Online poster making for awareness about sanitisation, social distancing and vaccination for COVID 19 as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsov run by NSS Unit of GDC, Jindrah was held today under the guidance of Principal of the college, Dr. Rajshree Dhar. NSS volunteers of GDC, Jindrah initiated a seven days online campaign for spreading awareness about the prevention form Corona virus and considered this campaign as a march to fight this deadly virus through awareness only under the supervision of Prof Sunil Dutt Sharma, NSS programme officer.
Dr Sunil Dutt Sharma stated that Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav shall be a Jan Mahotsav and the programs will be organized as per the interest of the general public and community service. The online poster making program was successful by the efforts NSS volunteers of the college themselves. First day NSS volunteers sanitize various local areas and government offices and on second day volunteers made people aware about the preventive measures to be taken against spread of corona virus by sharing their posters with local folk through all social means such as Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp etc. as these platforms are accessible to all during this lockdown phase.
