| Langar appeals traders to get vaccinated, defeat COVID-19 | | |  EARLY TIMESREPORT
JAMMU, June 7: Convenor Bharatiya Janata Party Industries & Trade Cell, Sham Lal Langar has urged all the shopkeepers of Jammu and Kashmir to get the first dose of Covid vaccine administered at the earliest.
In a statement issued to media here today, the Trade Cell Convenor said that the government has assured that there will be no shortage of vaccines now and as such the people including the traders' community need not to worry any more.
Langar said that as of today vaccine is the only potent weapon against the Corona virus and every one must ensure to get himself vaccinated for his own safety as well as the safety of the society at large. Moreover, by achieving hundred percent vaccination well in time it would be quite easy to prevent the anticipated third wave of Covid-19 pandemic, he added.
He impressed upon the people in general and traders in particular not to adopt relaxing mode yet and instead remain alert against the deadly virus that is still on the move. Focusing on the extreme significance of the Covid SOPs, Sham Lal asked the people to follow these SOPs sacredly as they are very important for stopping the spreading of the deadly virus at least till hundred percent vaccination is achieved, he added.
Meanwhile, the senior BJP leader reiterated his appeal to the traders as well as shopkeepers across the Jammu region to get themselves enrolled for the vaccination slot and play their due role in defeating the deadly virus in the battle against the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. |
