Protest against red categories units at battel ballian industrial area Udhampur 6/7/2021 9:38:19 PM EARLY TIMES REPORT UDHAMPUR June 7: Today protest demonstration against red categories units like chemical , pecticides and cement etc which are running in battel ballian industrial area . During the protest hundreds of people including DDC member Puran chand PRIs and other presented and they raised the voice against red categories units especially danuka Agritech industry and said slogan " danuka factory band Kro " which was catch fire few day ago due to circumstances and burnt totally resulted thousands of people here spend sleepless night away from their homes. While some moved to the places of their relatives in adjoining hamlets etc, there were many who said that they spend the night along the sides of national highway to save their lives. They also Said that then flames and smoke started emanating from Danuka Pesticides Industry at Battel Ballian here few day ago midnight after which the panicked locals living within the radius of 1 km from the industry quickly moved away to save their lives and also that of their family members as there was an alert from the administration for that and than we demanded high level enquires in the incident but industry start again without proper investigation of incident and we are not tolerate this , we demands this unit stop here and establish good category unit from this place . they also said that since 2006 we are continuously protest against these red units which are running in here and our demand are same shifted these units from here reason behind that hundreds of house hold present around these units within few distances results they feel black smoke of cement industries and bad smell of chemical industries in this area but nothing has been done from administration site on till   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
