| Black topping of road inaugurated by Mahant Saheb Manjit Singh Ji | | |

Jammu, Jun 14: Black topping work of road from Karan Bagh Main Road to GGHS BHOUR- I was inaugurated by Mahant Manjit Singh ji , Dera Nangali Saheb , Poonch in presence of huge local sangat , people from PWD Department lead by AEE Vikram Balowria and local corporation of ward - 73 Prof. (Dr.) Youdhvir Singh .
The inauguration ceremony of black topping job of the said road was commenced by offering the Prayer ( ardaas) by Mahant Saheb who prayed to almighty to shower blessing on the residents of area so that the work is completed without hindrance of any sort - natural and administrative and wished positive cooperation from residents so that alround development of the area is ensured.
The importance of this project of road construction in this one of the most backward wards - 73 , Gadigarh may be assessed from the fact that it is being taken up of pioneer Development Agency PWD after the gap of 18 years and was virtually turned into fishpond. With the commencement of black topping, mostly residents were seen with glittering faces and were showering bundle of thanks to the authorities particularly chief- Engineers A.K.Kikloo and Executive Engineers Rajan Gupta for their cooperation and positivity towards project.
On this occasion , councilor Prof. (Dr.) Youdhvir Singh also spoke and gave the information that 900 meters black topping with the cost of work 26 lakhs is going to be performed with the wet-mix base of 4 inch thickness . He also said that apart from this lane of Unique Public School and two lanes of karan Bagh Colony are also going to be taken up for black -topping . |
