| Militant's body recovered under mysterious circumstances | | |

Srinagar, Jun 14: Body of an active militant of Al-Badr outfit was recovered from Srinagar outskirts late Sunday night, official sources said.
They said panic gripped in Soura area in the city outskirts when some people saw a body on roadside last night.
Police was informed immediately. Later a police party from concern police station took away the body for identification.
The deceased was later identified as an active militants of Al-Badr militant outfit identified as Amir Ahmad Malik (23), a resident of Hyder Gund Zainpora Shopian in south Kashmir, the sources said, adding that he was a C category militant who had joined militancy in November 2020.
The cause of his death was being ascertained. Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings.
