Sant Nirankari Mission Branch Jammu organises Blood Donation Camp

Jammu, June 14: With the divine blessings of HH Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj Sant Nirankari Mission branch Jammu organized a voluntarily Blood Donation camp on the eve of World Blood Donors Day at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Shastri Nagar, Jammu. Volunteers participated in this camp to spread the message of Baba Hardev Singh ji that “blood should flow in veins and not in drains”. 55 donors donated blood on the occasion. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Raghav Langar IAS Divisional Commissioner Jammu. On this occasion he said that to save a human life through blood donation is a noble cause and its priceless way towards the service of humanity. He congratulated Donors and appreciated Sant Nirankari Mission and appeal other organisations to come forward for blood donation.
Ajit Singh zonal Incharge Sant Nirankari Mandal Jammu said that Sant Nirankari Mission donated 11,34,142 units till 31st March 2021 and Mission is offering selfless services for the benefit and welfare of mankind. Further he said that Nirankari mission believes in “Nar sewa Narayan pooja”, he also mentioned about others socio economic activities of the mission.
Other dignitaries presented on the occasion were Vinod Malhotra Secretary Indian Red Cross Society Jammu Region, Meena Sidhu Prof. & Head, Dr Anshu from Blood Bank GMC Jammu, B R Lachotra Retd. Director General Planning, Gian Chand Khetrya Sanchalak and several social workers of the society.
The camp was held in collaboration with blood & transfusion dept. of Govt. Medical College Jammu, Indian Red Cross Society & JKSACS.
