JKTJAC deputation meets CEO Udhampur, raises issues of teachers

Udhampur, June 14: A high profile deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) led by UT President Vinod Sharma and District President Lekh Raj Parihar called on CEO Udhampur Arvin Kumar Koul in his office chamber today.
While interacting with the CEO Vinod Sharma highlighted the genuine issues of the cadre which include: clearance of SAMAGRA arrears of RRETs in some zones, updating of service records of teachers in many zones , clearance MDM liability, processing of leftout regularisation files of ReTs and conversion files of RRETs.
CEO gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to redress all the issues raised by JKTJAC leadership on the priority basis.
On the occasion a shady plant was also planted by CEO, Dy CEO and JKTJAC leadership in the lawn of CEO office and CEO asked all the teachers to plant more and more plants in their respective schools to save the environment.
Meanwhile Vinod Sharma also appealed worthy DSEJ to convert all the leftout RRETs to teachers Grade II/III in tomorrow’s divisional level committee Meeting so that their several months salary issue be resolved .
He said that those RRETs who couldn’t be converted due to any reason, their salaries be released immediately and JKTJAC not be forced to take some hard steps as the family members of non concerted RRETs are on the verge of starvation.
He also urged DSEJ to regularise the leftout ReTs and release their pending salaries.
Others who were part of the deputation included Sham Sharma, Sukesh Khajuria, Ashok Seth, Pritam Goswami, Ravinder Singh Rathore, Shamsher Singh, Vipin Sharma, Anil Sharma, Mohd Salim and others.
