| Govt P G college Rajouri celebrates Seventh International Yoga Day | | |  Early Times Report
Rajouri, June 20: NSS Units Govt P. G. College Rajouri celebrated the Seventh International Yoga Day today. Under the auspices of Principal of the college, Prof (Dr) Shakeel Ahmed Raina NSS Units (Girls and boys wing), organized an Online campaign on “Be with Yoga, be at home for building immunity and relief from stress”.
The objective of the program was to commemorate the spirit of creating awareness about the culture of Yoga in India and benefits of practicing yoga and integrating it in our daily lives.
More than 50 NSS Volunteers took an online pledge at yoga.ayush.gov.in to make yoga an integral part of their life and got certificates from Ministry of Ayush.
To spread the message of traditional Yoga far and wide, for the betterment of both physical and mental health, “Be With Yoga, Be At Home” Campaign was organized by NSS programme officers.
Dr Naseem Ahmed and Prof Supriya Gupta, in which NSS Volunteers performed Yog asanas at their home with family and friends and upload pictures and short videos on social media platforms to raise awareness about traditional Yoga, and inspire people to prepare for and become active participants in the observation of IDY 2021. Short videos of yogasanas shot by NSS Volunteers have been uploaded on YouTube channel NSS GDC Rajouri. |
