Jammu, June 20: To celebrate Rahul Gandhi’s birthday President Beopar Mandal & Distt General Secretary Congress and activists distributed free rations among needy at Rajinder bazar in Jammu East Constituency.
In Continuation to reach needy in panedmic situation, Distt General Secretary Congress and his team of activists today distributed dry ration packets among certain sections of people in Jammu east Constituency.
The Distribution of dry ration packets was done in Rajinder bazar this morning in presence of senior local citizens by the Congressmen. The locals highly appreciated the gesture of young Congress leaders and activists to reach the needy families through this ration distribution drive. Gurmeet Singh and his team had also come forward to help the poor, destitute and needy earlier by distributing dry ration during this crisis situation, when most of the economic activities are affected due to Corono disease.
Gurmeet Singh appealed right thinking and conscious people to come forward and contribute their might in reducing agonies problems of needy people who are in distress presently due to economic hardships. There is already a direction from congress high command State President G A Mir JKPCC and State Vice President Raman Bhalla JKPCC to state, State vice president Mula Ram JKPCC, State Spokes person Ravinder Sharma JKPCC, State Gen. Sect. Manmohan Singh JKPCC activists of the party to render their services in whatever way to help the needy and deserving people who are facing economic crisis and are on the verge of starvation. Gurmeet singh as also suggested to party leaders, activists and other people belonging to other sections of political or social groups to pool their resources in bringing out affected common people from this common misery. Prominent among those who accompanied Distt General Secretary Congress Gurmeet Singh include ward no 3, President Hardavinder,Ward no. 15, President Raj kumar sodhi, Suman Gupta , Deepu kumari, Manohar Joshi, Sudesh kumari, Amarpreet Singh, Poli Devi, and beside others.
