Jammu, June 25: EBSB team of Govt. Degree College R. S. Pura, organized an Online cultural programme on the theme Duggar da lavan te libas under the banner of Azadi ke Amrut Mahostav under patronage of the Principal, Dr. G. S. Rakwal and supervision of Bindu Kumari, Nodal Officer EBSB and Dr. Anuradha, Convenor cultural committee.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Dr. Sheetal Sharma. The motive of the event was to describe different types of cultures of Jammu and Kashmir, India. A number of students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm and represented various cultures by wearing different costumes like Kashmiri, Dogri, Punjabi, Poonchi etc. They also shared their views and presented folk dances of these cultures like gidda, Bacha Nagma and sang local songs in Kashmiri and dogri languages. The event was concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Prof Shaweta Chowdhary. The Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee. |
