| DC Reasi presents ‘Champion of The Month Award’ to two Corona Warriors | | Recipients express gratitude for recognition of their work | |

REASI, June 28:Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh today presented ‘Champion Of The Month award’ to Dr Rakesh Raina and Junior Staff Nurse Manju Devi of District Hospital for their significant contribution in Covid management and mitigation efforts. Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rajeev Sharma and other functionaries of the hospital were also present. The D appreciated their efforts and said that these warriors who work at the forefront in managing covid while putting their own lives at risk will always be appreciated and commended them for their dedication towards human service in these tough times. Dr. Rakesh Raina thanked the DC for the encouragement of the work being done by the healthcare workers during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Dr Raina further appealed to the general public to take vaccination and don’t believe in rumours. “The vaccination reduces chances of severity of infection and hopefully we will win this battle against covid and the world will return to normal again” he said. Covid Warrior, Staff Nurse, Manju Devi in District Hospital Reasi also thanked the DC for appreciating her work of educating the attendants about Covid SOPs. She further appealed to the public to be extra cautious and avoid roaming unnecessarily in their areas without a mask.
