Nami Dogri Sanstha organizes “multi-lingual kavi goshthi”

JAMMU, July 4: Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) organized a “multi-lingual kavi goshthi” in virtual mode. Bishan Singh “Dardi” a renowned Dogri poet presided over. Adv Harish Kaila, President NDS supervised and monitored the kavi goshthi. Yash Pal Yash, General Secretary NDS, a renowned music composer and poet conducted the proceedings. Twenty poets from different languages recited their poetry.
The participating poets comprise Ashok Kumar Sharma Paras “Komal”, Sudershan Kumari “Darshi”, Savita Sharma, Surinder Bindi Aala, Shambu Ram “Pyasa”, Amarjeet Kour “Neer”, Kalpana Gupta “Rattan”, Neelam Sharma, Harish Kaila, Sunaina Kaila, Dalip Singh Blowaria, Padam Singh Choudhary, Rakesh Sharma “Tripf, Kusum Sharma “Antra”, Tarsem Mahajan, Ram Paul Dogra,Wing Commander Dr Deepak C Dogra, K.D Koul Mehboob, B.S Jamwal and Neelam Verma Mahotra.
Capt Lalit Sharma Convener NDS said that a language is a medium to express oneself and the aim of the poets of all languages is to enrich the thought and perception of the society. He said languages unite us by highlighting cultural, ethenic and historical perspectives of various sections of the society.
Bishan Singh “Dardi” complimented NDS for a quality and successful literary meet. He said that poets from Dogri, Punjabi, Pahari, Hindi, Urdu and English created a colourful rainbow effect. Sushil Bhola famous writer, poet, naturopathist and Executive Member NDS extended vote of thanks and reiterated resolve of NDS to work zealously for Dogri language and Duggar culture.
