JAMMU, July 9: Corporator Amit Gupta Jammu Municipal Corporation along with Sandhya Gupta social worker, Sanjogita Sudan Health Officer JMC, Rajiv Gupta Vinayak Bazar association President distributed ration to the Safai karamcharis of ward no. 19
Speaking on the occasion, Amit Gupta Corporator said that after the second wave of COVID-19 in 2021, there was a huge surge in COVID-19 active cases and even during this rise in covid cases and during unlock safai karamchari are always working without and breaks, whether it is doing desilting of drains, door to door collection or providing any other facilities regarding sanitation to the general public. They are always working even in these tough times, so in order to ensure their safety, today we with the help of corporator. At the end, Sandhya Gupta appealed the general public not to wander out of their houses unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are on the rise and only to go out when it's important and while wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
