| Sahitya Akademi awardee brings out two more books | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 16: Two wonderful books, one poetry collection- "Cipher Thama Cipher Takar" and one children's story book- "Kukkadi Te Pari" written by eminent poet, author, novelist Shivdev Singh Susheel were released today.
The books were released by prominent literary personality with grand profile, president Duggar Manch- Mohan Singh in Gurha Slathia observing and adhering to COVID-19 safety norms.
Launching the books, Mohan Singh appreciated the spirit of Sh. Shivdev Susheel to continue his literary journey with more promising books. The poetry book has range of emotions that spark the nostalgia as well as gives new definitions to life, its journey, the relationships that are there in our society.
The book unfolds disillusionments through poems which represent various shades of life and universal existence as a collective whole. Poems redefine modern concepts in various beautiful ways. Mohan Singh congratulated the poet for his second children's story book which accomplishes and inculcates children with simple things in simpler form of stories in our local language which is easy to understand. Stories are informative, educative and making them aware about the surroundings all-over about the national spirit as well as social, religious and cultural fabrics of the society.
While telling about the released books, Shivdev Susheel said "Poetry consists of varied experiences of day-to-day life of a common man in a modern world which gives strength to expressions of different kinds".
This launch was attended by prominent writers, ex-additional secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages- Dr. Gian Singh, eminent poet, author and broadcaster (AIR)- Vijay Verma, Dogri scholar, translator and broadcaster (AIR)- Dr. Jitender Singh, Dogri enthusiast ex-senior Manager J&K Bank Sukhdev Gautam, Information Official, translator and Broadcaster- Natya Pal Singh and others. |
