| Directs to expedite estimation, tendering of works approved under DDC, BDC, PRI Grants | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, July 17: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramban, Mussarat Islam today reviewed the functioning of Panchyati Raj and Rural Development Department besides taking stock of estimation of the works approved under DDC, BDC and PRI Grants for the financial year 2021-22 in the district.
ACD, Zameer Ahmed Rishu, ACR, Dherinder Sharma, CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal, DPO Sunil Bhutyal, ACP, Swarn Singh, Executive Engineer REW, BDOs, Engineers and technical staff of the RDD also attended the meeting.
The DC directed the Engineers and technical staff to complete the estimation of works approved under Area Development Funds of DDC, BDC and PRI Grants within prescribed timeline. He also directed the BDO to achieve 100% target of timely payments besides ensuring AADHAR seeding of 100% Job cards and achieving the target of 90% within five days.
The DC also directed the Executive Engineer to complete the tendering process and other formalities including Technical Sanction, Administrative Approval, pre and post photographs of all sanctioned Projects of the RDD sector and execution of the projects of public importance.
During the meeting a threadbare discussion was also held on physical and financial achievements made by the departments under various flagship schemes including MGNREGA, PMAY-G, 14th FC, SBM-G, 15th FC, V2B3, GPDP and necessary directions were passed to the concerned to achieve tangible results.
