| 8 injured in road mishap | | |

KISHTWAR, July 27: In a tragic accident in remote Sigdi Bhata area of Mughal Maidan Tehsil in Kishtwar District, 8 people were injured after an Eco- vehicle bearing Registration No. JK17A-1220 on way from Chatroo to Sigdi Bhata met with an accident.
The official sources told the Early Times that the driver of the ill-fated vehicle was driving in a rash and negligent manner, adding that while reaching near Bhawani market Sigdi, it met with an accident resulting into the injuries to 8 persons out of which six persons including Sanjay Kumar (36 yrs) S/o Bansi Lal R/o Nanzala, Jaana Begum (36 yrs) W/o Abdul Rashid R/o Balana , Zerna Begum (22 yrs) D/o Abdul Gani R/o Balana, Abdul (35 yrs) S/o Abdul Karim R/o Balana, Rashid Ahmed (26 yrs) S/o Mohd Shafi R/o Sigdi Balana & Akshay Kumar S/o Balkrishnan R/o Hindgam were shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar while two other injured were taken to Primary Health Center Chatroo.
Police has taken the cognizance of the incident and has started its investigation after registration of an FIR. The condition of all the injured is said to be stable and out of danger. |
