| PNB settle accidental claims of armed forces under Rakshak Plus Scheme | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 28: Paying tributes to the martyrs, Punjab National Bank has settled accidental claims under PNB Rakshak Plus Scheme of the Bank for the Salary account holders of armed forces of nation.
Circle Head Jammu circle Yatender Kumar (DGM) handed over an amount of Rs 3000000/- (Rs Thirty lakh) monetary compensation to Nominee Smt. Anchla Devi mother of the deceased in a simple ceremony held at their branch office Samba. As per the MOU between Indian Army and Punjab National Bank a special PNB Rakshak Plus Package scheme is launched by the bank extending to all serving and veterans with monetary compensation under personal accidental death/permanent disablement insurance up Rs 30.00 Lakh, air accident (death) cover of Rs 1 crore along with other features like financial assistance for education of dependent child of PAI case concessional rate of interest in housing , educational, personal and car loans and exclusive debit and credit cards.
Late Suresh Sharma (Naik) NO 13779027H 12th JAK Rifles was maintaining his salary account under PNB Rakshak Plus Scheme with Punjab National Bank Samba expired on 17.04.2021 and his family lodged claim documents with branch for grant of monetary compensations available to PNB Rakshak Plus Accounts which was settled on priority and amount handed over the family. Family members of the deceased Suresh Sharma thanked Authorities of the Punjab National Bank for such a beneficial scheme for the armed forces of India and taking up concerned insurance company for early settlement of claim. |
