Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 16: Even as the Indian Army personnel greeted their Pakistani counterparts on Pakistan’s Independence Day and exchanged sweets along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district on Saturday, the enemy country continues to cast its evil eye of terror in Jammu and Kashmir.
Even on the fateful day of August 14, a terror module was busted in Doda region of Jammu whereas a similar Pakistan backed network was unearthed in Kashmir.
Muzammil Shah, who had joined militancy with the Hizbul was arrested from Doda whereas four youth affiliated with Jaish were caught by police in Kashmir.
A day prior to this four sticky bombs were seized in Poonch area of Jammu province. Officials said such sticky bombs are believed to be sponsored by Pakistan Army to terror groups world over.
Just two days ago, on August 12, a grenade blast left a child dead and half a dozen others wounded in attack on BJP leaders residence in Rajauri.
A senior official said that while India wants to have friendly relations with the neighboring country, Pakistan doesn’t give up its terror sponsorship in J&K and that it was now targeting the Jammu district the most.
“From construction of terror tunnels to use of drones for smuggling arms into Jammu region or dropping of bombs, Pakistan has not been giving up from its sinister agenda and now focuses more on Jammu,” said a teacher in Jammu university, who is keeping track of such developments but spoke on the condition of anonymity.
The Early Times had already been reporting it for months that since the abrogation of the so called special status of Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan has been involved in more terror activities in nationalist Jammu, which celebrated the most, the historic decision as taken on August 5, 2019.
A senior official said India was clean at heart and thus the forces did greet the neighbor on latter’s special occasion but that Pakistan doesn’t mend it ways.
“Muh Mein Ram Ram, Bhagal Mei Churi! This befits Pakistan,” said the official on the condition of anonymity.
