| DC releases 2 Publications highlighting Socio Economic profile of District Kathua | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Aug 17: To highlight the Socio-economic and Development profile of the district, District Development Commissioner Kathua, Rahul yadav today released two vital publications namely District at a Glance and Village Amenity Directory for the year 2020-21 here at a release function held in his office chamber.
Additional District Development Commissioner Puneet Sharma; Assistant Commissioner Development Narayan Dutt; District Social Welfare Officer Abdul Rahim; District Statistics and Evaluation Officer Ranjeet Thakur; Assistant Director (E&S) Mahesh Kumar and other staff members were present in the release ceremony.
The District Statistics and Evaluation Office, Kathua is the Nodal Agency for collection, compilation & dissemination of statistical data in the District. The data contained in these publications will serve as an important tool for the researchers, planners, students and other users in their respective fields.
After releasing the publication, DDC, Kathua hailed the efforts of field functionaries in collection of data and stressed on improvement of these publications in future with regular updating and wide coverage so that data should be used by all stakeholders like policy makers, planners, students and researchers. He also announced that the Publications will be made available in public domain and citizens can download the same from the official website of District Administration Kathua & DSEO, Kathua. |
