| Doda Administration felicitates District COVID-19 Cell team on Independence Day 2021 | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, Aug 17: To acknowledge its relentless services for effective management of the COVID-19 pandemic, District Administration Doda felicitated the staff of District COVID-19 Cell here on the eve of Independence Day 2021. The award including commendation certificates and mementos were presented to the officials of the Cell by Chairman District Development Council, Dhananter Singh Kotwal in presence of Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sharma and SSP, Ab Qayoom and other prominent dignitaries. Those who were felicitated included Nodal Officers Urvi Singh, Pardeep Kumar, Mohammad Umar Mughal (Health Department) and Kameshwar Chandail (Sports Department) for being at the forefront and displaying indomitable courage, selflessness and determination in this hour of crisis. In District Doda, various measures and initiatives have been taken by the District Administration to tackle the Covid crisis and the District COVID team/cell has played a pivotal role in the ongoing process. For the last two years, the District COVID Cell has been working day and night without any break of a single day in the War Room managing the Covid-19 and its related affairs on a daily basis.
The team is also one of the core groups of the district covid task force and is working with it to chalk out the framework and measures which are implemented at the grassroots level on routine basis to ensure that each and every individual of the district shall be safeguarded amid this Covid-19 pandemic scare.
Chief Guest Dhananter Singh and District Administration, on the occasion, congratulated all the officers and officials for their proactive approach during the pandemic crisis.
Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr Mohammad Yaqoob Mir and his team were also felicitated by the District Administration for their extraordinary work and for maintaining high standards in the public service. |
