DDC Doda hands over sanction letters to beneficiaries under MUMKIN, KCC, PMEGP, NRLM, Saral Finance schemes

DODA, Aug 18: To extend banking facilities and financial services further into the rural areas, J&K Bank commissioned an Easy Banking Unit (EBU) at Mohalla Tehsil attached with base branch Prem Nagar of Doda district. The unit was today inaugurated by District Development Commissioner, Vikas Sharma, in the presence of Rajesh Gupta, Zonal head Jammu North-1 and a gathering of valuable customers, elected public representatives, prominent local residents besides other officials of the Bank and Civil officers.
While congratulating the people of Mohalla, the DDC thanked the J&K Bank for opening the new banking outlets and hoped that people would get the best financial and banking services there. He also highlighted the importance of banking facilities for hassle-free transactions and urged people to avail benefits of social security schemes and self-employment schemes like Mumkin, KCC, PMEGP, NRLM. He handed over the sanction letters to the beneficiaries under the said self employment schemes.
In his address, Zonal Head informed the people that J&K Bank is on its mission to provide best banking services and easy access to customers including women, senior citizens, and young people.
Reaffirming the Bank's commitment, the Zonal head said, `the J&K bank is moving forward at a rapid pace to provide world class banking services and facilities to the people of the area irrespective of their locations and status. He also advised the staff to educate the locals about various welfare schemes by holding financial literacy camps about the banks digital delivery channels like mobile banking application M Pay, debit cards, credit cards and internet banking, besides Bank’s products, especially digital delivery channels like mobile banking and internet banking. Those present at the inaugural ceremony appreciated the efforts of the Bank. Among others present on the occasion were DDC member Gundna, Asim Hashmi, BDC Chairperson Gundna, Sarshad Nisar Natnoo, Sarpanches, Panches and locals.
