| Sikh organizations discuss Afghanistan issue | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 18: An emergency meeting of various Sikh Organizations J&K held under the Chairmanship of S Sudarshan Singh Wazir Chairman Sikh United Front J&K to discuss the burning issues in general and the current situation in Afghanistan in particular are discussed.
The public of Pakistan as a good citizens stand against such incidents and guide the public of Pakistan regarding the pluralistic type of kingdom of maharaja Ranjit Singh who treated all religions equal and served the subject's on the basis of teachings of Guru Nanak ji there is a great resentment among the secular minded people across the world.
The Sikh organizations strongly condemned the incident of dismantling of statue of Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh in Pakistan by stupid and mischievous persons and appealed the government of India to intervene in to the matter and ask the government of Pakistan to beware of such practices otherwise the consequences will not be good in relationship as a neighbouring country
They also appeal the Pakistan government to install the new statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The Sikh organization appealed the Prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan Sahib to take action against the culprits and punishment be given under law of the land.
The Sikh organizations appealed the Prime minister of India Narinder Modi, Home minister Sh Amit Shah and S Hardeep Singh Puri Minister for housing and urban affairs and natural Gas to make all efforts to save the lives of Hindus and Sikhs in Afghanistan who are feeling insecure due to current situation.
The Sikhs living in Afghanistan have lots of moveable and immovable properties and have Gurdwaras in large numbers which needs a security protection .so the Indian government should take necessary steps to save the properties as well as lives of the minorities
