BJP Govt working with agenda of holistic development: Col Mahan Singh

BASOHLI, Aug 21: Col Mahan Singh, District Development Council (DDC) Chairman Kathua, who is also DDC Councilor from Basohli, has said that Bharatiya Janata Party Govt at the Centre along with the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Administration is working with agenda of holistic development with special focus on far flung and remote areas.
The DDC Chairman stated this while addressing BJP Karyakartas of Basohli and Mahanpur blocks during a meeting held at Marta Nagrota here today.
The meeting was chaired by Col Mahan Singh while prominent among others present on the occasion were Tejinder Goldy, DDC Councilor Mahanpur; Smt Sushma Jamwal, BDC Basohli; Ram Chand and Captain Harnam Singh, both vice presidents of Pahari Zila; Ajeet Singh, Kissan Morcha District President; Dharam Chand Malgotra, Satish Sharma, Capt Des Raj and Kewal Singh.
Speaking on the occasion Col Mahan briefed the BJP Karyakartas about the various projects being implemented under Capex Budget Plan and other schemes.
He said that the administration is fully sensitive towards the issues of the people and is taking comprehensive measures for redressal of the same at the earliest.
We are working with the agenda of holistic development of all the regions of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, besides putting in concerted efforts to meet the developmental aspirations of the people.
He asserted that the overall development is on the priority list of the BJP government with special focus on the remote and far flung areas.
The District Development Council Chairman also emphasized upon the need for strengthening the party organization in the region.
He urged the Karyakartas to constitute the augmenting teams at Shakti Kendra and Booth level and these teams need to cover every nook and corner of the respective areas.
He asserted that this will ensure that the desired results are achieved within a short span of time.
