Govt PG College Bhaderwah organised one day national webinar

Bhaderwah, Aug 24: Government PG College Bhaderwah organized “National Webinar Securities Markets” through online mode.
The webinar was organised in collaboration with Securities and Exchange Board of India, Mumbai. The webinar started with the idea “Jab kuch badi cheese mil Jati hai to choti to bhool mat jana, kunqi jhan sui kaam ati ha vhan Talwar nhi”. The focus of the Webinar born in poverty is not our fault but dying in poverty shall be our fault.
The invited resource person for the webinar were Chidrup Jain, Financial Planner and Trainer, SEBI, Mumbai. Dr Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Principal of the college was the Patron for the Webinar. Presenting the welcome address, Dr K.K. Sharma extended his warm welcome to the resource person, students, scholars, the faculty members, delegates and other dignitaries from different parts of the country.
He highlighted the importance of webinar on such crucial aspects during this pandemic time. Presenting the keynote speech, Chidrup Jain dissected the investment strategies both in money and capital markets with the basic understanding.
He focused on mutual funds,types , time horizon and risk appetite as important factors for the investment. He also suggested Liquid funds, Systematic Investment plans through Mutual fund route for the investors.
Then there was technical session where the participants raised different queries and same were responded by the resource person for the sission. The audience applauded his presentation highly and gave excellent remarks to his presentation.
The plat forum for the webinar was Webex Meet. The proceeding s of the webinar were conducted by Prof S.S.Parihar, Convenor ,IQAC and the vote of the thanks was proposed by Prof Vijay Kumar, Department of Computer Science.
