| Ex legislator distributes free ration among poor | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 25: Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) distributed free ration amongst a large number of families at Janipur Colony of Ward 37 along with local Corporator Sunita Gupta. Local residents and political activists were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma thanked PM Modi for providing free ration to poor and needy under the scheme which has helped in overcoming many problems and said that it has reduced distress for the poor and gives them confidence.
Sunita Gupta said that to ameliorate the hardships faced by the poor and the needy due to economic disruptions caused by the pandemic, the Central Government through PMGKAY is helping the poor to overcome the problems. She also said that under the leadership of Former MLA this scheme has brought fruitful results and in every ward of Jammu West, poor and needy are being provided with free ration so that no problem persists in their lives.
