JAMMU, Aug 25: Taekwondo Association of District Srinagar (TADS) held the closing ceremony of 11th District Srinagar Taekwondo Championships under the aegis of J&K Taekwondo Association (JKTA) at Doon international School, Srinagar.
Around 250 athletes from different clubs participated. The event went mesmerized and witnessed by the local crowd. On the occasion of auspicious Closing ceremony Shahid Iqbal Choudhary (IAS, Secretary TAD & CEO, J&K MYMDSD, J&K-UT) joined as Chief Guest. Rouf Ahmad Bhat (President, J&KCSNGEU), Adv Neelofar Masood (President, BTA), Abid Khan (Under Sec. to Government) presided over as Guest of Honours.
Later the ceremonial stage was joined by Maqsood Rather (Gen.Sec WAS), Aijaz Hassan (International Wushu Medalist) as special guests. D.N Pangotra (President, JKTA) congratulated Nissar Hussain (VP, JKTA (K)) and the OC/Management of Doon International School, Sgr for organzing such a great event. The event held under the supervision of Nissar Hussain (Vice President, JKTA). Burhan ud din Khan (Secretary, DDTA) was the observer from JKTA on the occasion. J&K Taekwondo Association appreciated the efforts of Showkat Hussain Khan (Chairman, DIS) for making the championships a big successs. |
