JAMMU, Aug 25: One day workshop on enrolment drive/awareness programme on National Education Policy 2020 at Block Resource Centre Keran was organized by District Institute of Education and Trainings Jammu (DIET).
The programme was held under the chairmanship of Zonal Education Officer, Bhalwal to aware the members of school management committee (SMC), Village Education Committee (VEC and PRI members of Block Bhalwal and Block Mathwar.
The workshop was formally inaugurated by Sushila Devi Sharma, Zonal Education Officer, Bhalwal. H.S. Chouhan H.O.D, DIET, Jammu (Coordinator of the Workshop) highlighted the salient features of National Education Policy 2020. Soba Kirti HOD (Associate Coordinator) also highlighted the effects of COVID-19 Pandemic in the workshop.
In the workshop, Smt. Sarifa Bibi (BDC Chairman, Mathwar) Dharvinder Singh Manhas (Sarpanch Keran), Naseem Fatima, (Sarpanch Showa), Ram Paul Sharma, (Naib Sarpanch Kote), Joginder Singh (Sarpanch Upper Gharota-B), Sanjeev Singh (Sarpanch Ranjan), Jaswant Singh (Sarpanch Lower Amb), Rajni Devi, (Sarpanch Purkhoo) also expressed their views and experience on said workshop on National Education Policy 2020.
The workshop was concluded by the Zonal Education Officer, Bhalwal by expressing her satisfaction about the salient features of NEP-2020 especially about vocational Education, different stages (5+3+3+4) of NEP-2020.
In the workshop some Masters/Teachers were also present. The vote of thanks was presented by Ram Krishan Master MS Dhanwan. |
