JAMMU, Aug 25: The Fashion statements are going to change this month in Jammu.
98.3 Mirchi in their bid to provide stage to the talented Women of Jammu has launched their 'Mirchi Queens - a fashion show for all the women of Jammu. This activity presented to the city by Colours & Page 3 Salon and Café Lounge intends to promote all inclusiveness and body positivity among the females. Mirchi Queens took off in the second week of August wherein entries from Jammu city across all age groups were invited at the social media handles of Mirchi Shwetima, 98.3 Mirchi's morning jock and Programming head, more commonly known as Jammu di Kudi and Mirchi Simran, 98.3 Mirchi's new afternoon jock, more commonly known as Jammu ki dhadkan. And after a couple of weeks of inviting entries, a screening round was organised at 98.3 Mirchi's Jammu office where all the participants were invited to display their flair for the same. Present at the screening was Ms Maansi Rattan Gupta, Director MG Design School who screened the shortlisted 65 participants and on the basis of her assessment, selected Top 22 finalists, who will now walk the ramp in Jammu's first of its kind fashion show, Mirchi Queens. The finale of the event - The Fashion Show - is scheduled to be held at Garden estate on the 28th of August with Miss Sana Dua, Femina Miss India 2017, Founder - Image and beyond by Sana Dua as the chief guest for the gala evening.
The panelist of the finale include MTV Splitsvilla season 13 fame Arushee Chib and the daugheterfamous singer Anjusha sharma, along with few other dignitaries. Mirchi Queens is presented to the people of Jammu to explore and showcase their talent by COLOURS and Page 3 Salon and Cafe Lounge, Powered by Mulkh Raj Ashok Kumar Jewellers, Co Powered by Skoda India, Wheelocity Motors, Royal Nest sapphire, Associate Sponsored by Poshak Bridal Emporio by Monika Bhatia, Garden estate and Branding elves, wherein MG Design Studio shall be the Event Coordinator.
Mirchi Queens is not just a fashion show, but a platform to Promote Inclusivity, Body Positivity, Self Love & Self Esteem amongst Women and to show the real essence of Womanhood we have Anissa Nabi (KAS officer, Marathon Runner), Kritika Khanna (India's First Para Rower), Upasana Mahajan (Powerlifter), Dr Zinnia (Entrepreneur, Cancer Warrior) being our Special Guests for the event.
