| COVID-19 vaccination drive launched | | |

Hiranagar, Sept 4: A special COVID-19 vaccination drive was launched by the health and Medical Education Department at GLDM Degree College Hiranagar under the direct supervision of BMO Hiranagar.Firstly a awareness Programme was organized in which Principal of the College Prof. Kuldeep Singh Koushal alongwith BMO addressed the students, NSS Volunteers and NCC Cadets and asked them to spread the message of Vaccination, COVID appropriate behaviour measures like wearing of M ask, Social distancing, frequently Hand washing and promotion of Vaccination among the civil Society for prevention of 3rd wave.
The team of doctors injected the 1st and 2nd Dose of COVID Vaccination number of students and staff members on the spot. In the presence of Prof. Rakesh Sharma NSS Programme Officer and other Staff. Meanwhile, the NSS and NCC Units of GLDM Degree College Hiranagar organized “FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN” Campaign under the Patronage of Principal of the College Prof. Kuldeep Singh Koushal and Supervision of Prof. Rakesh Sharma NSS Programme Officer.
Around 50 NSS Volunteers and NCC cadets took part in the FIT INDIA freedom run. The main motto of this campaign was to encourage general public to remains healthy and FIT by including physical activities and sports in their daily lives.
