RMPS celebrates Teachers day

Jammu, Sept 4: An atmosphere of enthusiasm and reverence filled the atmosphere as RMPS celebrated Teachers Day in school premises to thank the teaching faculty for their contribution in making the lives of students better.
Chairman Shri Rameshwar Mengi, Director of the school Mr. Rakshan Mengi along with Principal of Commerce College, Jammu. Sh. Ranjit Singh Jamwal, attended the function as a special guest. Also present were the colleague from sister concerns Shiksha Niketan Jeevan Nagar, Shiksha Niketan Gandhi Nagar and Pushp Vatika Jeevan Nagar.
The programme started with the lamp-lightning ceremony and paying tributes to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan by the Chief Guest.
In the absence of students- due to Covid restrictions- the teachers presented a cultural programme beginning with Saraswati Vandana. Various cultural programs including speeches, skit and lectures were presented by the teachers to make this function a memorable one. This was followed by a Gift Distribution Ceremony. The teachers also expressed their gratitude to their mentor and chairman- Sh. Rameshwar Mengi ji - for his constant support and guidance, in form of handmade cards. The program was hosted by the Mrs. Poonam Manhas and Mrs. Rajni Sharma.
The Chairman of the school Shri Rameshwar Mengi reminded everyone that teachers are the backbone of our society, they also play a great role in building up the character of students and shaping them to become an ideal citizen of India. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Shilpa.
