Jammu, Sept 4: To mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Radhakrishnan RC jammu Elite celebrated teacher’s day. On the eve of this special day club Felicitated and honoured five educationists and teacher achievers with certificates letter of appreciation gifts and medicinal plants.
Dr. Rachna Sharma TGT& NCC Officer Of Army Public school who was awarded by directorate of J&Kin 1918 for her outstanding services.
Club also Felicitated War widow who is a teacher Jyoti jamwal.
Teacher of Govt. Middle school Brij nagar jammu .for her dedicated services in the field of education. Educationists were also honoured which are also the members of this prestigious organisation are professor Manisha kaushik. principal Astro kids mrs. archana sharma and Principal Banyan Tree Rohini Aima.
Club organized awareness lecture onthe occasion. Epthomologist Dr. Paramjeet was the resource person and in her lecture she gave the knowledge for the protection of eyes especially the precautions tobe taken to protect eyes from infection during Corona and in general and also motivated the members to danate eyes and for that she highlighted the dire need of eyes donation by which blinds can be benifited who are waiting in queues for this beautiful gift of sight.
Members got theselves registered in the concerned department of Govt. Medical college and 11 members have already registered last year. In the beginning president pooja malhotra who is also a prominent educationist welcomed the esteemed guests and highlighted the impotant role and responsibilities of the teachers in making nation strong by inculcating values in the students.
