| Legal Literacy Club at Bhargava Public School inaugurated | | |  Early Times Report
Samba, Sept 4: The first Legal Literacy Club in the Samba district under the District Legal Services Authority is inaugurated at Bhargava Public School Samba by the Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, Judge of High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Executive Chairman J&k Legal Services Authority.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of Justice Sindhu Sharma , Judge High Court of J & K and Ladakh, Administrative Judge for district Samba, Justice Vinod Chatterjee Koul , Judge High Court of J&K and Ladakh, Anuradha Gupta Deputy Commissioner Samba , M K Sharma Secretary J&K Legal Services Authority , Sonia Gupta Chairman District Legal Services Authority ( Principal District & Session Judge Samba) also graced the occasion along with para legal volunteers , staff and student.
While interacting with the student Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, told the students you should be aware of your rights and duties, Women rights. The purpose of opening Legal Literacy Club is to educate the students who act as the Ambassador to spread the message high and loud to every nook and corner. The weaker section and under privileged who cannot afford to fight their Legal battle for their legitimate rights shall be provided with legal support by the District Legal services Authority.
Sonia Gupta, Chairman District Legal services Authority presented the Welcome address. Thereafter all dignitaries were presented with bouquets followed by lighting of Lamp and Saraswati Vandana.
Academic Director Bhargava Group of Institutions Professor Keshav Sharma in his felicitation speech brief the august gathering to be aware about their legal rights and at the same time one should not forget his/her duties towards the society. He also briefed about the activities undertaken by the organization. |
