| Modi Govt did Kaayaakalp of Jammu region: Neelam Langeh | | | | RAMBAN, Sept 6: Senior BJP leader and former MLA Ramban Neelam Langeh on Monday asserted that BJP dispensation led by PM Narendra Modi has done Kaayaakalp of Jammu region by removing the age old scourge of discrimination with the region by the successive governments. In a statement issued here, he said that from the day when PM Modi has taken over the reign of the country the destiny of Jammu has transformed drastically with so much good news hogging the headlines and development touching the level next. He said that Dr Jitendra Singh’s induction into the cabinet was just like icing on the cake and from that day onwards Jammu region never looked back and witnessed launching of countless projects including AIIMS, IIT, Biotech Industrial Park, Space/ISRO Centre, National Institute of High Altitude Medicine at Bhaderwah, Mega -quintal Seed Processing Plant, weather forecast instrument installed at Sanjhi Chhat for convenience of Vaishano Devi pilgrims, high altitude Radio Relay Station and now state-of-the-art Doppler Weather Radar (DWR) & Indigenous GPS based Pilot Sonde. Citing Dr Jitendra Singh’s statement that Jammu has become a part of India’s giant scientific leaps under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that the duo has done tremendous work in taking Jammu region to new heights of development and it is now people’s turn to showcase thanksgiving by supporting the BJP leadership in the upcoming political contests as no other party can even think of doing so much for the people of J&K in general and Jammu in particular. |
