Ex MLA starts construction work of deep drains

Jammu, Sept 6: Fulfilling long pending demand of locals, Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West along with Corporator Ward 40 Neelam Nargotra started works for construction of deep drains at Kamla Palace road.
A large number of people including officials of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation), Mandal President BJP Keshav Chopra, District General Secretary BJP Rajesh Gupta, local residents and political activists of the area were also present.
The works will be done at an estimated cost of Rupees 11.40 lakhs and the funds were provided to the Corporator for the purpose of this work.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the works for construction on this road was taken up sometime back as this road which connects Akhnoor road to Talab Tillo was in a very shabby condition earlier and thousands of commuters pass through this road daily. After the works on construction of road was done, now the pending works including construction of Deep Drains has been taken up with the efforts of the local Corporator and concerned department which will provide relief and a clean atmosphere to a large number of inhabitants living in the area. JE BK Raina, Satyabhushan Dubey, Yash Pal Shivgotra, Rajesh Saini, Rahul Nargotra, Paramjeet Kour, Praveen Ghai, Jaipal Sharma, Manohar Lal Gupta, Ashok Thaploo, Ram Kotwal, Sunita Koul, Ramesh, Abhishek Sharma and several others were also present.
