DDC Suresh Sharma holds review meeting with Jal Shakti, PDD officials

JAMMU, Sept 7: Member District Development Council, Suresh Sharma, held a review meeting with the officials of Jal Shakti Department (PHE) and Electricity Department at PWD Guest House, Akhnoor pertains to water and electricity constraints in Chowki Choura and Maira Mandrian area. Giving directions to the officers of the department, Suresh Sharma said that soon the problem of electricity and water which is coming in Chowki Choura and Maira Mandrian area should be resolved immediately.
Electricity and water infrastructure should be stabilized in Block Chowki Chaura so that the general public does not suffer.
Suresh Sharma while giving directions to the officials of Jal Shakti Department said that all the schemes of water being built under NRDWP and languishing should be completed Soon and ask contractors who have been allotted work, their work should be done expeditiously. Apart from this, Suresh Sharma, while giving directions to the officials of the PDD, said that in the area where there is a problem like low voltage, the poles are broken, repair work should be started immediately so that people do not face any problem and The areas where new transformers are to be installed should be installed at the earliest so that people do not have to face such problem of low voltage.
