Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 7: Citizen’s Forum has requested the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Kumar Sinha to take up the issue of visiting of Parliamentary Committees only to Kashmir and not in Jammu. “We have seen hundreds of Parliamentary committees and foreign and Local delegates coming to J&K ,but visiting only Kashmir and not Jammu. Seldom 3/4 delegates or committees have visited Jammu. We want our dismay be conveyed to the Chairman Parliamentary Committees and The Speaker Mr. OM Birla that it hurts the sentiments of Jammu people”, they said.
R K Chadha said, we feel that Chaiman of Parliamentary commitees Board of Centre Government must change the opinion about Jammu people that they are not that educated and well informed and unable to convey their genuine demands to the visiting committees.
“We demand that program of such committees and Delegates already chalked be well informed to Jammu people and before that government should make a list of people apart from government experts the highly educated concerned people with the subject to have an open discussion with the visiting members and also allowed to ask questions to them too”, Chadha said.
