Mendhar, Sept 10: Senior National Leader and Former MLA Mendhar, Javed Ahmed Rana, today hailed the efforts made by Tribal Department and its secretary, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, in reaching out to the people.
In a press conference, Rana appreciated the role of Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, for his people friendly approach and doing enormous work on the ground, to make things better for the public.
Rana said, during a time, when some of the departments are lying defunct, Tribal Department has become the flag bearer as for as developmental projects are concerned. In no time they have completed survey of Nomadic Tribal Population, Scheme for 1500 Mini Sheep Farms launched, Milk Villages, (Dharana-Behra) are covered in this scheme from Mendhar Sub-Division, more than 40 Lakhs has already been released under Milk Village Scheme, new villages are taken up under cluster Model Village Scheme, Kalaban-Chhungan have been taken from Mendhar Sub-Division.
Rana also lauded Shahid Iqbal’s efforts to involve youth in different skill development programmes. He said youth being the future of this country, has immense role to play in nation building, as they are the gift of nature. But somewhere I feel they are not been taken into confidence by the government. Unemployment has remained a colossal problem. Now I hope with different programmes introduced by Mission Youth Department, things might fall at the right place for youth. Rana was accompanied by Senior party colleagues in the press conference |
