| Sarpanch’s house attacked, Police register FIR | | |  Ankit Kessar

Rajouri, Sept 12: Miscreants attacked the house of a Sarpanch and damaged his car at Deing Kalal in Nowshera here last night.
After the attack Police lodged a FIR No : 188/2021 456, 427 IPC and started investigations.
Sarpanch Ramesh Choudhary while narrating the details said, “When I heard the noise didn’t come out. I informed the Army about some people barging into my house and ransacking my car. Army is close to my house as ours is a border village. But before help arrived miscreants fled away.”
He alleged that this might be the handiwork of some political parties. Pertinently Choudhary recently joined AAP in Rajouri.
It may be recalled that in the past also a lady Sarpanch was attacked by some miscreants in Rajouri district. Additional SP Nowshera told Early Times that an FIR has been lodged and investigations are on.
Meanwhile, AAP Leader Amit Kapoor has warned that if culprits are not arrested within 15 days, a massive protest will be launched. He demanded the constitution of SIT to probe the matter. |
