SDM Jammu South inaugurates medical camp

JAMMU, Sept 16: Nations Development Association (NDA) and Indian System of Medicine J&K (ISM) today organised 25th COVID-19 medical cum awareness camp at Bal Shishu Shiksha Kender High School Kalu Chak slums where AYUSH immunity boosting medicines were provided to locals of the area through the expert team of doctors, following guidelines issued by the administration.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Jammu South Abhishek Abrol inaugurated the camp in the presence of Retired Deputy Commissioner State Tax Vijay Sharma, Social Activist and Chairman Nirbhay Bharat Foundation (NBF) Tarun Uppal, Principal BSSK High School Kalu Chak Anju Bakshi and Sushil Singh Charak Chairman Nations Development Association (NDA). Speaking on the occasion SDM Jammu South Abhishek Abrol hailed ISM doctors and volunteers of NDA in mitigating the impact of pandemic in J&K.A handout stated that over 200 people were attended in the camp by ISM Dr. Sanjay Koul. Earlier, awareness on COVID-19 was also given by the team of ISM doctors.Nations Development Association (NDA) Chairman and Paryavaran Ratna Awarded Sushil Singh Charak expressed gratitude to Dr. Mohan Singh, Director ISM and Dr. Suresh Sharma, ADMO Jammu for deputing a team of doctors and providing free AYUSH medicines for boosting the immunity of the needy people.He hailed the role of Anju Bakshi, Principal BSSK High School Kalu Chak and his team for the successful conduct of the camp. Tanjeet Kour, Suriya Bharti Gagandeep Kour, Shweta Rajput were also present on the occasion.
