DIET Kishtwar conducts online Pan India Essay writing competition

KISHTWAR, Sept 16: District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Kishtwar today conducted an online Pan India essay writing competition. The Essay writing competition was conducted under the overall Supervision of District Development Commissioner Ashok Sharma and under the guidance of Principal DIET Ashok Kumar. In all, 205 online entries were received and after thorough scrutiny, only 187 of them were considered for evaluation by the Evaluation Team constituted under the chairmanship of Principal, DIET as per the standard guidelines. The Evaluation team members comprised Principal HSS Nagseni Dr Riaz Ul Haq; HOD DIET Kishtwar Javed Ahmed Kichloo, ZEO Kishtwar Madan Lal ; ZEO Nagseni Mohammad Munshi and Lecturer DIET Mehboob Ahmed Qazi.
Top 6 students in two categories were awarded after the evaluation.
In Category I, Taufiq Abbas Magray, Zehaid Samoon and Jatin Sharma of Classes 10th , 9th and 10th bagged first, 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.
In Category II , Students Bushra Fatima, Vanshiksa Gupta (class 12) and Vasundra Sharma (class 11) bagged first, 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.
The result of the entries under Pan India Essay writing competition was duly authenticated by District Development Commissioner, Ashok Sharma.
The List of Toppers alongwith the Hard copies of their writings will be submitted to Directorate of School Education, Jammu for next level of competition viz ; Divisional Level Competition .
The Chief Education Officer alongwith Principal, DIET expressed words of thanks to all the HOIs in general and applauded the student community in particular who made the event of Pan India Essay writing competition a success. They informed that the winners at the district level will be awarded with the merit certificates by District Development Commissioner, Chief Education officer Kishtwar and Principal DIET Kishtwar.
